About Comfyfit Footwear

Longstone Shoes (Orthopaedic) is a small domicilliary retail business which, for 14 years has been delivering and fitting footwear for the elderly and those with mobility problems who may be either housebound or in care.

With 36 years of shoe fitting experience it became apparent in 1994 that there was a large gap in the elderly footwear market for a new footwear product. A footwear product that gave the comfort of a slipper along with the sturdiness and security of a shoe. This inspired us to create a new range called Comfyfit Footwear for Safer Mobility. Our market research clearly shows the serious need and increasing demand for this product which is designed to suit both the elderly and people with all sorts of foot problems.

Our reputation for providing a readymade orthopaedic footwear and fitting service has inspired us to expand, and increase accessibility of Comfyfit Footwear to everyone.
